Stately Screenings under Sky

This summer the Cambridge Film Trust is bringing its expertise in innovative film presentation to deliver a unique programme of outdoor cinema to two National Trust properties in Eastern England.

On 21 and 22 August at Wimpole Hall (Cambridgeshire) and 28 and 29 August at Ickworth House (Suffolk), our giant inflatable screen will take pride of place in the grounds of these great estates, providing a sumptuous backdrop for you to enjoy the best of recent British cinema.

Illustrating Victorian Britain with Jeremy Paxman

On Thursday 19 March, Cambridge Film Projects will be at Ely Cathedral for the launch of Jeremy Paxman’s new book, The Victorians: Britain Through the Paintings of the Age. We’ll be providing the equipment and expertise to project many of the illustrations featured in the art history volume against the stunning backdrop of the church.

Drive-in screenings in Cambridge

Cambridge Film Trust, in association with Cambridgeshire County Council and Stagecoach, is proud to launch its 2008 season of outdoor films with another fabulous weekend of drive-in screenings at Trumpington Park & Ride. End your half-term with a special treat for all the family with THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM (12A)* on Friday 14 March and RATATOUILLE (U) on Saturday 15 March. Both screenings will start at 8pm, tickets are free and can be reserved by emailing parkride@cambridgeshire.gov.uk now, stating which film you would like to see. There will be a collection at the entrance in aid of Q103 Kids.
