This summer the Cambridge Film Trust is bringing its expertise in innovative film presentation to deliver a unique programme of outdoor cinema to two National Trust properties in Eastern England.

On 21 and 22 August at Wimpole Hall (Cambridgeshire) and 28 and 29 August at Ickworth House (Suffolk), our giant inflatable screen will take pride of place in the grounds of these great estates, providing a sumptuous backdrop for you to enjoy the best of recent British cinema.

Look out for ‘behind the scenes’ introductions from those in the film industry, added entertainment, delicious refreshments, and who knows… perhaps even a famous face or two?

Here’s the line-up:

Easy Virtue, Friday 21 August, Wimpole Hall
Atonement (guests expected), Saturday 22 August, Wimpole Hall
The Duchess (guests expected), Friday 28 August, Ickworth House
Mamma Mia!, Saturday 29 August, Ickworth House

Doors will open at 7.30pm and the films will start at 8.40pm subject to light conditions.

These screenings are brought to you in partnership with Sky with additional support from BAFTA, Screen East and the Cambridge Film Trust.

Special thanks to Pathé for the screenings of Easy Virtue and The Duchess, and Universal Pictures for Mamma Mia! and Atonement
