Screening Specialists

Cambridge Film Projects can meet all your screening and projection needs, whatever they may be.  We have a range of screens available in addition to our 50ft inflatable Airscreen® and years of experience of presenting films in unique locations throughout the UK.

We ensure that we deliver all our screenings to the highest possible standard. Thanks to our team of specialists, we have the technical expertise to project in a range of formats including 70mm, 35mm, Blu Ray and high definition digital.

Our Expertise

Drive-in screening

From drive-in movies to promote Park & Ride services to national tours of cult classics and major outdoor events, Cambridge Film Projects’ giant inflatable Airscreen has been seen across the country.  Silent films with live music accompaniment have proved particularly popular - from solo performers such as the renowned pianist Neil Brand to whole orchestras!

We can also project onto buildings, as part of site-specific projects as well as more conventional screenings looking for an innovative touch.

Outdoor screening

Our Clients

In 2008, our clients ranged from Chester Zoo to the Serpentine Gallery and the Times BFI London Film Festival for its screenings in Trafalgar Square.  We helped Tyneside Cinema relaunch in style with an outdoor screening of ‘Dirty Dancing’ in the heart of Newcastle’s city centre.

We also organised the UK’s first twin Airscreen® show to celebrate the opening of Eurostar’s latest terminal in Ebbsfleet.  And for our own Cambridge Film Festival in September, we held a spectacular screening of ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ at the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Astronomy.

We offer consultancy and technical assistance for your indoor screenings too, so if you’re planning to show any film just about anywhere in the UK, please contact us to request a quote.
